New to the Baldwinsville area, I chose this Physician office when I was sick. I was given an appointment the same day at the Baldwinsville location. The nurse that tended to me was quite friendly but that's where the good things ended!
I was provided a prescription for my illness after telling the PA my medication allergies. Later in the day when I went to pick up the filled prescription, the pharmacy told me I couldn't take that medication because I was ALLERGIC to that family of medication! Shouldn't the PA have known this??? Thank goodness for the pharmacist recognizing this!
I called the main number of the Physician office but the Baldwinsville office was closed so I spoke to someone at the main office. When I told her the situation she became defensive and quite rude with me. In the end, because my file was at the closed B-ville office, nothing could be done for me. I was told someone would call me first thing in the morning.
Apparently not.
I called the morning to check on the status of my situation (I'm still very sick and in need of my medication!). Again, a rude person answered the phone and informed me that the Bville office was in a meeting and I needed to relax and be patient! 2 HOURS later I received a phone call saying the pharmacy had been called.
This will be the first and last time I use Family Practice Associates!
