Review content:
I love, love, LOVE Mario's. I've been going since the old location - when it was still named Manuel's, even. There's no doubt that it's not 100% authentic Mexican, and it's too classy to be straight TexMex. It's just... delicious.
I live in San Antonio now and have Mario's cravings very often. Every time I visit Houston, I go there if possible. The service is outstanding - everyone is so nice, and Mario himself is a great man. I've never had a bad meal there.
The decor is pleasant, and even though it's not in THE most visible area, it still gets a lot of traffic. Most people tend to become frequent customers.
My only regrets are that it's not a chain (though it undoubtedly would be difficult to maintain such excellence if spaced out), that it isn't open 24 hours every day of the year, and that I can only eat there so often. I wish more people could experience this restaurant. This is one of my favorites, if not the absolute favorite. EAT HERE! You won't regret it.
Pros: everything
Cons: not open 24-hours
