My daughter, Lindsey's wedding at Chateau on the Creek was exceptional and wonderful in every aspect. I would like to share a few references, recommendations, and positive comments with you.Our vocalist, as well as other guests, were Beta Siga Phi sisters(National Sorority), so if you are a Beta sister, you should tell everyone you know about this wonderful venue. Speaking of sororities, if you are an Alpha Delta Kappa (teachers' sorority) several were there, including a previous district president, who had only the highest compliments for Kathy,Mark,Jan,Jess, and all of the staff. Many of our friends have worked in the media industry and all wedding related comments were extremely positive. On a more personal note, my mother is in stage four cancer, Mark directed traffic expertly, and made sure that she could easily reach the gazebo. Jan checked on her often and caringly met all of her needs. The staff was professional, attentive, caring, and personable at all times. The rehearsal was just as professionally done as the wedding;I'll never forget how Jan and Kathy reassured us by telling us to go back to the hotel, relax, and don't worry they would take care of everything;and they did. Their planning was perfect down to every detail. Kathy's cake, many said, was the best they had ever tasted The bride agreed, and she had tasted many cakes at the two cake decorating classes that she had taken in college before she became a florist. A florist can be very picky about where she has her wedding; I know;I helped her investigate several possible locations before she decided on the Chateau. The interior decorating was elegant, and the outdoor grounds were beautifully maintained. The new sidewalk to the quaint, beautiful gazebo which is not pictured on their website is a work of art in stone demonstrating Austin beauty (we live in a Houston suburb) the bride and groom live in Austin. I know they will highly recommend the Chateau on the Creek to any of their unmarried friends.
