We had the unfortunate luck of running into a waitress that needs to find a new line of work. She was mad that I had the audacity to ask for salt and pepper (imagine, asking for salt and pepper at a restaurant). She proceeded to spend the rest of the evening teaching me a lesson. Rude comments came with every visit to our table. She even knocked over the paper cup that held the salt and pepper (combined).
