Review content:
4 years ago I lived in Upstate NY & was pregnant. I found Kim & Amy through a friend. Even though I was almost 2000 miles from my family in San Antonio, TX; Amy & Kim made me realize I wasn't alone. They helped me with pain management (due to a repetitive motion injury on the job 10 years earlier), and with planning my c-section (I'd had an emergency c-section 13 years prior with my first son).
A month before I was set to deliver, my now ex-husband told me he wanted a divorce & to put our baby up for adoption. Kim & Amy & everyone in the office helped me through that very difficult time, including helping me look for adoptive parents. I found a wonderful couple who became parents for the baby boy I'd nurtured. Everyone worked with me in the days leading up to delivery & in the weeks after in preparation for my return to Texas.
They made my Mom feel welcome & from having spoken with Baby's parents, they were treated wonderfully too. That kind of peace of mind & peace of spirit cannot be quantified.
Thank you to everyone in Women's View Midwifery.
If I lived close enough or got back to that part of the country, I'd definitely still be a patient.
The person who left the nasty review about Amy probably heard what she didn't want to hear about lifestyle changes that MUST happen to have a safe & happy pregnancy & delivery. What utter nonsense that Amy was anything less than a caring & attentive midwife.
