If it was not for Kim and Amy my son would not have been so healthy and may not have made it. he was born early and they took great care of us before and after and when we were at Albany Med. That's why I have gone to them again and once again because of them I have made it to almost 38wks. Thank u Kim and Amy you two are the best! more

Wonderful, nurturing, dedicated, loving, & awesome 9/22/2010

4 years ago I lived in Upstate NY & was pregnant. I found Kim & Amy through a friend. Even though I was almost 2000 miles from my family in San Antonio, TX; Amy & Kim made me realize I wasn't alone. They helped me with pain management (due to a repetitive motion injury on the job 10 years earlier), and with planning my c-section (I'd had an emergency c-section 13 years prior with my first son). A month before I was set to deliver, my now ex-husband told me he wanted a divorce & to put our baby up for adoption. Kim & Amy & everyone in the office helped me through that very difficult time, including helping me look for adoptive parents. I found a wonderful couple who became parents for the baby boy I'd nurtured. Everyone worked with me in the days leading up to delivery & in the weeks after in preparation for my return to Texas. They made my Mom feel welcome & from having spoken with Baby's parents, they were treated wonderfully too. That kind of peace of mind & peace of spirit cannot be quantified. Thank you to everyone in Women's View Midwifery. If I lived close enough or got back to that part of the country, I'd definitely still be a patient. The person who left the nasty review about Amy probably heard what she didn't want to hear about lifestyle changes that MUST happen to have a safe & happy pregnancy & delivery. What utter nonsense that Amy was anything less than a caring & attentive midwife. more

Kind & Professional Midwives 12/22/2009

When I went into labor for my first child in the Summer of 2001, I arrived at the hospital to find that Amy Kranick was on call for the provider I had seen for my pregnancy. I had never met Amy before, yet she made my first birth an amazing and beautiful experience. more

Fabulous people 12/20/2009

I've been seeing Kim or Amy since I was sixteen. Seven years later, I still go to Women's View even though I live in Nashville (I schedule appointments when I'm home for a visit) and the office is an hour away from my parent's house. They are kind and good at putting you at your ease. I know I can always call the office with questions and get great advice. Pros: excellent advice, bedside manner Cons: distance from home more

Amy and Kim rock! 12/10/2009

Ive been cared for by Womensview for 8 years. Both of my children arrived under thier watch. They were previously located in NY and they are so good I followed them to VT. Amy and Kim are both medically sound and spiritually grounded. Pros: Attentive and understanding Cons: far from my house more

Unprofessional and rude Midwife 10/10/2009

After a recent trip to labor and delivery, my family and i have come to the conclusion that Amy is a rude unprofessional inconsiderate b****, who doesnt seem concerned at all about the safety and well being of her patients or their unborn children. Pros: Kim Griffen is wonderful Cons: Amy Kranick has bad bedside manners more
