I have lived in Jennings for over 25 years. I've have heard people talk about Ropers day in and day out but never ever attempted to go purchase any of their food. I wasnt really fond of the location but the officers I work with have always said go in the daytime you'll have nothing to worry about...I wasn't trying to hear them. My brother decided to bring some home one day...his first time eating there too. LOL You should have seen us hovered over that box of rib tips!!! Lawd hav mercy they were the best ribs ever. I was upset that all this time I had been living here I never tried them....Now I will be going as often as I can!!!
