We go to Jo-Jo's all the time in the summer because it's easy, casual and one of the only family-friendly places to go in Ventnor. The last couple times we went, however, we were treated really poorly. I mean the owner argued with me about the fact that the menu says there are fresh roma tomatoes on one of their pies--even though there aren't. I was just trying to order that pie and he kept telling me I was ""wrong"" about it and that the pie doesn't have the tomatoes. I asked if it was possible to get those tomatoes on it, and he got even madder. He was kind of nasty about it. No explanations from him about why no tomatoes, of course. Then my family and I went again and we were told that we were ""taking over the place, and putting our feet up, and getting up too many times,"" and so on. Please believe me when I say that we were sitting in our booths very nicely the whole time. I had to get up to get plates, utensils and straws though because the snotty 15-year old waitress was always in the corner, for some reason, snickering at us with the other waitress. When I gave my feedback to the owner, he told me that I must not be a business person and that I have no idea how to run a business and that he didn't want our ""kind of business"". By the way, the subs there are okay, but the pizza is not too great. That day there wasn't even any sauce on the pizza. Pros: convenient, casual Cons: rude, too busy to care about your business attitude
