Best

I've been comming here since I was a kid, and just recently ate here again after probably 10 years. The Chicken Parm was as good as I remembered. ...

Worst

Worst customer service ever, ordered 2 pizzas which were delivered 2 hours and 20 minutes later, and was cursed out by manager for inquiring

Editorial review from Citysearch 9/22/2013

What happened to the good ol' JoJo's I grew up with? Ordered two pies yesterday while over at my parents in Ventnor, small, tasteless, and overpriced. $50 and change for two large pies and 6 sodas. \r They used to have slices of pizza as big as your head, now the large is like a small. Taste like frozen pizza.\r I feel like I was totally ripped off. Never again. I hope they go out of business. more

Worst dining experience ever. 9/2/2011

This place is a crime against humanity. Why and how places like this manage to stay in business and their ignorant owner stays rich is beyond me. But people like this owner should not be rewarded for their ugliness. Save yourself, don't eat here, eat anywhere else. more

Excellent NY Style Pizza 11/4/2006

This was the find of our recent trip to Atlantic City. We enjoyed slices of mozzarella pizza to go. The slices were large, the crust thin and the toppings achieved the desired balance between cheese and sauce. On top of that lunch was a downright bargain more

If you want to be treated like dirt, go to Jo Jo's! 8/2/2006

The only thing worse than Jo Jo's food are their rude and disrespectful servers and their horrible owner. They may have a monopoly on Italian food in the Ventnor/Margate area, but soon enough they will be out of business and I will celebrate! Cons: Bad food, depressing atmosphere, and horrible service! more

How Jo Jo's Ruined by Daughter's Birthday 7/31/2006

For my daughter's 2nd birthday, we thought it would be fun to have the family start out our day with an early (11 AM) lunch - including pizza and sandwiches. We had 22 people, including seven kids ages 4 and under. You would think this would be some good business for Jo Jo's, and they would be interested in serving us with a smile - and maybe even keeping us happy. You would be wrong . . . Cons: overpriced; awful service more

Terrible Treatment of Customers 7/31/2006

We go to Jo-Jo's all the time in the summer because it's easy, casual and one of the only family-friendly places to go in Ventnor. The last couple times we went, however, we were treated really poorly. I mean the owner argued with me about the fact that the menu says there are fresh roma tomatoes on one of their pies--even though there aren't. I was just trying to order that pie and he kept telling me I was ""wrong"" about it and that the pie doesn't have the tomatoes. I asked if it was possible to get those tomatoes on it, and he got even madder. He was kind of nasty about it. No explanations from him about why no tomatoes, of course. Then my family and I went again and we were told that we were ""taking over the place, and putting our feet up, and getting up too many times,"" and so on. Please believe me when I say that we were sitting in our booths very nicely the whole time. I had to get up to get plates, utensils and straws though because the snotty 15-year old waitress was always in the corner, for some reason, snickering at us with the other waitress. When I gave my feedback to the owner, he told me that I must not be a business person and that I have no idea how to run a business and that he didn't want our ""kind of business"". By the way, the subs there are okay, but the pizza is not too great. That day there wasn't even any sauce on the pizza. Pros: convenient, casual Cons: rude, too busy to care about your business attitude more
