This place has the absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced as well as horrible construction of their cakes. I ordered a cake for my father's 70th birthday from them and the top and bottom layer of the cake separated from each other. I had ordered a gardening themed cake with a figurine of a little gardener on top. My event was on Sunday but because the bakery is closed on Sunday I had to pick it up on Saturday (which I had made clear to the girl who was helping me). When I called the bakery and told them that the top and bottom of the cake separated the co-owner of the bakery (Gregg) told me that if they would have known that the event was on Sunday they would have never put the figurine on the cake but rather given it to me to put on the cake right before the event. Then Gregg told me he would check with the girl helping me to see if they did know that the event was Sunday. I called back the next day and spoke to Gregg again who told me that yes they did know the event was on Sunday but they are not going to do anything for me and that rather we should just part ways from this point forward. As a business owner myself I would never tell a customer that we should part ways... that is just bad business. It is clear that they made a mistake in the construction of the cake but rather than owning up to the mistake they just made things worse. I would NOT recommend simply cakes to ANYONE. The way I was treated was so horrible. On top of the horrible treatment of their customers, the cakes are overpriced. This particular cake cost me $215 and literally fell apart. It is such a shame because it was a pretty cake. Too bad the owners are such JERKS!!!
