Always wanted to see whose Juicy Lucy was the best. Girlfriend & I decided to try Matt's first, but didn't even get the opportunity. Went during off hours, only to find a line going out the door. The guy at the bar then barked at me, ""READ THE GREEN SIGN ON THE DOOR!"" For starters, who notices all the signs (especially somewhere they've never been before)? I can understand trying to keep it cool, but when it's high 60's/low 70's you're going to try and embarrass a potential customer about not keeping the door closed? Turned around, walked out, & had a pleasant experience @ the 5-8 club. As much as I like burgers, I'll NEVER eat at and/or recommend this hole-in-the-wall!
