I suffered from arm numbness for over a year had a couple of EMG's, x-rays & MRI's before being referred to Dr. Guyot. After a brief, fast talking 1st appointment with NO explanations of what was being looked for, I got ""better get another EMG"" (means 3 more weeks of waiting!). My 2nd appointment was ""So...when are we doing surgery?"" I had to ask her to explain the procedure! It may have been ""every day"" to her, but it was my first, & hopefully ONLY surgery like this!! She gave me a 2 minute explanation & handed me a stack of papers to sign, then turned me over to her office gal.
