Unprofessional & uncaring! :-( 4/24/2012

I suffered from arm numbness for over a year had a couple of EMG's, x-rays & MRI's before being referred to Dr. Guyot. After a brief, fast talking 1st appointment with NO explanations of what was being looked for, I got ""better get another EMG"" (means 3 more weeks of waiting!). My 2nd appointment was ""So...when are we doing surgery?"" I had to ask her to explain the procedure! It may have been ""every day"" to her, but it was my first, & hopefully ONLY surgery like this!! She gave me a 2 minute explanation & handed me a stack of papers to sign, then turned me over to her office gal. more

Not pleased. 1/20/2012

Had back surgery by a neurosugeon (Guyot) and she knicked a nerve!!!! Duh! Now, a year later, have to go to a orthopeadic surgeon and had to have a 6 vertebrae spinal fusion and can barely walk! I would NEVER go back to Guyot. In the office, she lets her ""assistants' do all of the work and talking. Only see her for seconds, even after the surgery!!! Hope you have better luck than I did! more
