Unlike every other Japanese restaurant in the bay, this place offers Japanese homestyle cooking. The food, from the Chikara Udon (where have you ever been able to get this?) to the Shoga yaki, is very good and authentic.
Pros: The most important part: the food.
Cons: service, parking in berkeley is horrible.
