Review content:
On Saturday, February 27, 2010, I walked into Vj's Avon store in Normal, IL and approached the woman working and asked if she would be interested in buying a business ad for my high school yearbook. She then interrupted and said, ""Honey, 1st of all, we are closed and you shouldn't have come in here. And the budget for all of that is full and should have been done last year."" I would have understood and left in good spirits if she had not used a rude tone of voice with me. I replied, ""I did not know you were closed. Your OPEN sign is up."" Also, there were people, a family, in the store when I walked in, giving me every impression that the store was still open. I understood and respected her reasons to not purchase an ad for my yearbook, however, I did not understand nor respect the way she replied, seeing as I had neither said nor done anything disrespectful. She threw rude comments at me with the most disrespectful attitude and tone I have ever heard from a salesperson. I have never shopped at the store before, and have no intention of ever entering the store again, for I am rightly under the impression that the service recieved as a customer is as poor as the attitude I recieved as a high schooler attempting to raise money for my school.
