I am usually pretty skeptical of such negative reviews, but this time I felt quit compelled to say something so others do not suffer with bad hair like I did. I take care of my hair and did tons of research before I chose this salon; the good reviews online and in the South Magazine made me select this salon. I got an appointment with Meagan. I simply wanted natural looking highlights, and I specifically asked to make sure the were not blond/grey. The process went through quickly and I could vaguely tell the color was not what I wanted, but I could not tell bc the lighting kind of masked the color. Once I got home and looked under my lighting I was horrified at my hair. It was grey chunky highlights that I am sure my little brothers could have done a better job. I immediately went to my moms salon, Island Styles Hair Salon, to get it corrected. The whole salon took the time to assess the damage, and they even noted that it had green in it.
Ultimately, I assume everyone reading the reviews on Citysearch is like me wanting excellent hair, willing to pay for it, and doing research to see who is best in town. The research lies and Atmosphere Salon butchered my hair. If you want highlights go else where, or if you want the quality they gave me get a box and die your hair yourself. I just want to warn others that if you want color DO NOT go to Atmospheres. I take pride in my hair and this event was traumatizing. I had to pay to get the grey/green unnatural looking highlights corrected.
