Review content:
would never recommend Dowell to anyone I know. I thought they were polite and treated our things well but they underestimated the time by a little over 3 hours. We ended up paying double what we originally budgeted. Granted, they were one less mover than they were supposed to have but it took over 6 hours to move us from a small 2 br house. Also, not everything fit into the moving truck. The owner came over to do an estimate a week before the move, so he saw what was being moved and should have known what size truck to bring. I am just disappointed that we didn't speak up during the move and question why it was taking so long. I just think that it is bad business practices to underestimate the time by that much and not truly offer an explanation of why.
