Review content:
I've been going to The Steeping Room ever since it opened. Every visit is a gustatory delight--they constantly find things that are fresh, in season and full of flavor. The selection of teas are really impressive, only surpassed by their expertise. Flavors really pop! Everything, from dishes as simple as scones and clotted cream ( the best this side of London) to inventive pairings like the olive tapenade and goat cheese, surprise, delight and excite the palate. Love the salads, strata, and desserts. The owners are great at suggesting the perfect tea pairing with your meal. These people are real foodies and know their stuff. I love to sit outside and enjoy the passing scene and the best tea service I have ever had. Pros: Ambience, food, tea, central location in the Domain, service Cons: None!
