Review content:
I too called Bonfe's for a small toilet repair, just to replace the broken overflow tube, before he even looked at it he tried to sell me a $1300.00 new toilet. Then continued to try to sell the fancy shmacy toilet saying I would be better off because my current toilet was so ""old"". Several times I told him that I could not afford a new toilet and all I wanted was the repair. Reluctantly he wrote an estimate for the repair ($314.00). He also kept pushing their repair plan. It cost me the $52.00 walk in the door fee to get him to leave. I purchased the new tube myself at a plumbing parts store for $11.00 and with some advice from a nice gentleman there repaired it myself. Including drive time to the store, the repair took about 45 minutes.
