Review content:
By all the reviews this company may have been good at one time but the ownership has changed to the son and the service or lack there of that I have received has been nothing short of terrible. I Paid $2100 by check to have deck stairs added in September of 2010. Company promised quality guarantee and warranty on the work. After examining the work found many defects including boards not nailed down, rusted indoor nails used, sloppy uneven cuts, gaps in railing, code issues, hurricane clips used to secure stairs to existing deck (unsafe!) and just generally terrible workmanship. Contacted company 4 times and after threat of legal action got a call back on Oct. 5th. It was agreed that the company would come back to fix the issues on Oct 7th. The company never showed up or called. I made 4 more calls without response over the next week. I then contacted my lawyer who sent them an initial letter to which the new owner Chad Evans responded. Chad agreed to come look at the issue. On the date Chad was to come look at the stairs he was late and I had to call him to come out. Finally he arrived and after looking at the stairs he agreed that there were many problems and that he would return to fix them after the holidays. I have been calling him since January 2011 and have never gotten a single call back. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life and I simply want a safe set of stairs for my 2 young sons to be able to use.
