Review content:
We moved into Valparaiso as a result of my husbands work transfer. We are at the point in our lives where we wanted what we want....a custom home. We did not have any idea of what local builders to use. I started asking around while we were living in an apartment and the name I kept hearing repeated was Bucher. So we contacted them and were impressed with their knowledge and honesty from the start.
As we went thru the process I can say that it was a joy and fun building my new home. I feel like I got a great value and several upgrades along the way that I was not charged for.
However, the thing I am really happy about it is the quality. I didn't realize it when I was shopping home builders, but I ended up getting so much more with my house than others would have offered (95% furances, energy star HERS rating was 54, i got to pick all my finishes, workmanship is very very good, etc.). These guys are a hands on builder who do everything they can to build a great product.
I would reccomend them to everyone. They not only do what they say they are going to, they actually give you much more than they say they will.
