Okay, maybe this was more of a ""three star"" joint, but I'm giving it an extra star because it seems to be getting bashed here and I don't think it deserves it.
After a day of being beaten within an inch of our lives by a timeshare saleswoman (ha ha, Heidi! We'll never buy a stupid timeshare! Thanks for the free dinner vouchers!) and then having our free dinner reservations screwed up (curse you Heidi! We'll have our revenge!) and then wandering Tahoe aimlessly we came across this place, and it was just what we needed.
Cold beer, cheap food and a good ""dive bar"" type vibe. The service was pleasant and fast, I never had to wait for a fresh beer, and my barbecue chicken quesadilla was pretty damn tasty.
Not bad! Not bad at all.
