Review content:
Came with a large party (15-20 people) and needed both bikes and an electric car for the weekend. We worked everything out over the phone and signed the contract later on. We realized later that they actually changed the terms of the agreement to include a longer rental term and higher charge than that which we had agreed. We called back, and the manager refused to speak to us. We were directed to a new girl who hadn't even been involved with the original deal and literally must have been hired that day. After we finally got them to agree to honor the original agreement we thought everything was fine.
Wrong.
Two days later after returning all of the equipment, we received a phone call saying that they could not find the keys to the car that we rented. We assured them that we had in fact returned the car (an hour or so earlier than agreed). They then accused us of returning the car a day and a half late, then threatened to charge us both for they key and late charge. They then proceeded to tell us that they had no record of times that cars are returned or surveillance cameras. After we told them that we were on our way to talk to them in person, we get another phone call saying that they mixed up the paperwork. They called us before they even had all the facts and barely apologized for the accusations later.
This is the worst rental experience I have ever had. DO NOT RENT FROM SUNSHINE RENTALS.
