Review content:
Sad experience! Have been going to Gubancs for almost 20 years. Recently bringing my son, husband and friends. The Manager, Steve has completely ruined this destination for us. There might as well be a sign on the door that says ""leave your child outside"". The Mgr hovered over us without talking to us, watching every move our child made, and actually asked his wait staff to ""remove the little vase of carnations from our table so the next guest could enjoy"", my son was thriled to smell and pull in and out of the vase, normal 2 year old behavior. The vase and flowers were in perfect condition when we left. We had a confrontation with the poor waiter (who was kind and embarresessed), and when my husband spoke with the Mgr upon leaving. We dine out regularily with our child, and he's pretty great in restaraunts. In todays world, it's really dissapointing to see a family, neighborhood restaraunt have a Mrg with such backwards attitudes on how to treat guests with kids. Food is great! Atmosphere hasn't changed since the 70's. Just not a place to bring children.
