Review content:
As someone who has lived in Japan, I can attest that this is authentic tasting ramen. But that said, the ramen they serve here is more like what you?d get in an a low-key noodle shop in an industrial part of town versus the higher quality you?d get downtown (I almost fainted the first time I had kurobuta or ?black pig? ramen in a popular shop in central Osaka?it?s one of the best things I?ve ever eaten in my life). I agree with the other reviewers that the place is pretty dirty, but no dirtier than some places I?ve eaten in in Japan...I didn?t get sick from my meal of original miso ramen and gyoza. The noodles were cooked perfectly, but the broth and the pork lacked flavor. The ?big? Kirin (beer) are a plus, however. This place needs to turn on some (or get some) AC! Pros: Authentic ramen Cons: Lacking strong flavors, dirty, needs AC
