Review content:
On Saturday night four of us ate at Wahoo! Restaurant in Decatur. We enjoyed the interesting, eclectic d?cor; the comfortable informal atmosphere; the friendly, helpful staff; the delicious food. We began with pomegranate martinis, which were smooth, sweet, light, fruity, which is how I like them. I had scallops piccata, with rice and asparagus, as I enjoy the taste of lemon. The scallops were perfectly cooked, which is hard to do; restaurants tend to overcook them a bit. They were a little breaded but not excessively so. The rice and asparagus were perfectly cooked for my taste as well. My dinner companion thought his Scottish salmon was ?excellent?. For dessert we had bread pudding and chocolate bliss cake, both delicious. We sat and talked and watched the MARTA train whiz by in the rainy night outside, lights illuminating the darkness. Wahoo! is a lovely place to go with friends.
