I've been a customer of this restaurant since they opened their doors. I have been to many of the other sushi restaurants in the area, but I keep coming back to Akashi for a lot of reasons: (1) the fish always feels fresh, (2) they have one of the largest selections of creative rolls (over 80!) that I have ever seen, (3) their prices are affordable and a good value for what you get, (4) their waitstaff is friendly and accommodating, and (5) their restaurant feels clean.
Their ambiance has evolved with time from being plain to having a modern Asian feel. Occasionally, their service can be slow, but that has been an exception rather than a rule from my plethora of visits there.
