Review content:
We only boarded our dog at the Hound Dog Pet Hotel once, on a friend's recomendation. I have never met Karen, so I cannot comment on the majority of previous reviews. However, my own experience was a nightmare. When we came to pick our dog up, she was terrified and had her tail between her legs for the entire car ride home (for comparison, she is the most social, cheerful dog ever and is usually doing backflips when she sees us). Her fur was matted and sticky in places, and she REEKED of stale urine (she basically smelled like she had stayed with a homeless man on the streets, not in any sort of a Pet Hotel). Once we got home, she couldn't stop drinking water, and she refused to eat for the rest of the day. Her behavior was so atypical that I seriously considered calling our vet.
Pros: convenient location
Cons: poor animal care, no animal supervision, poor customer service
