I found Sean Camillian through a friend's recommendation. Before I became his client, I had actually been cutting my own hair and was kind of nervous to put myself in someone else's hands, someone who didn't know me. But he listened and immediately picked up on my style and my boundaries, and even though I tell him every time to ""do whatever"" - and even though every time he does something different - every time I am pleased and surprised. He manages to take my look in different directions while still maintaining my ""me-ness"". He is able to pick up on what I'm comfortable with and meshes that with what he knows will really work on me.
I have been impressed with his expertise not only in his cuts/colors but also with his products. I have been converted to Aveda products - they really are worth every penny (and my cats love the smell of the Air Control hairspray!). I have also been impressed with his commitment to education. He is always pushing himself to learn everything he can about everything he does. And it shows. I get many compliments on both my cut and color. Even if it's been awhile since I've been able to make an appointment, I still get compliments, because my hair looks good and fresh even after it's grown out a bit. I have been with Sean for about three years, and I know my self-confidence has grown since I've put myself in his hands!
