When I first called John the owner he was busy so he said he'd have his bookkeeper call us back. Which she did within 15 minutes, always a good sign. After which I proceeded to ask a lot of questions! She was very patient and thorough, and gave us some past customers to call - something which we had requested. We checked out their reference, and checked out their Better Business Bureau rating which was excellent, then called John, back.
He was just about as patient as his bookkeeper! We ended up having them do our move. Everything went smoothly except for one table leg that was already cracked and it broke the rest of the way. Lighthouse Moving took the small table and leg, and repaired them perfectly for us, even though we had told them they didn't have to We had a total of 2 1/2 truck loads of furniture and belongings moved for us. Their rates were very good, and they were fair in their tabulation of the bill - they didn't try any tricks, which I have seen before. The three man crew did an exceptional and professional job!
