I had a lot of heavy furniture. I realized it wasn't going to be a really easy move, and that was described to John Hathaway when we discussed the possibility of hiring Lighthouse Moving. He said he would pass my message along to his workers.
I think the overall attitude of the of the two movers that came was that they weren't really willing to work. Some pieces that were quite heavy needed to be moved down steps, and when they would get to the location, they would just plunk them down without asking me where to put them.
I had to ask them to move things if they were not where I wanted, and there was not a lot of cooperation between us. It was kind of like pulling teeth; I guess that is how I'd describe it. The company as a whole might be great, but I would not work with these two individuals again.
