Review content:
As a non-picky person with not very high expectations, I gave this dental office a try. Their dental services were mediocre at best. Not to mention, the staff was unfriendly and did not seem to care about their patient.
However, my real complaint and reason for writing this review is their lack of responsibility and professional service. After my visit, I got a bill charging me for x-rays that my insurance did not cover. I wasn't even supposed to have x-rays (only 1 every 1 or 2 years for insurance and safety reasons) and furthermore, I did not remember getting any x-rays done. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt and called in to see if there was a mistake. I called several times and was told that I ""should have"" been asked about the x-rays before the procedure was done, but they ""did not hold responsibility"". According to my insurance company, the dental office does hold responsibility and it was unfair for me to have to pay. When I called them a final time, I was also told that I'd be called back, which never happened.
I am truly disappointed and plan on never returning. I am now a happy patient under the care of Happy Tooth in Chapel Hill.
