Review content:
I went to the ER last week for chest and stomach pain, vomiting and just not feeling well at all. I was placed in a room right away but the nurse did not come back at all. After about two hours I asked what is going on and how long. I was rudely told that it would be soon and that I will just have to wait! I was shock by the response so I sat and waited for another 20 minutes. Despite my pain and nausea I gathered my things and left. The nurse at the desk ask where I was going so I told her that I am leaving and she did not hesitate to say ""I will show you the exit door"". I was appalled and pissed. I yelled back that she didn't want to treat me but have enough time to show me to the door. I then looked around and realize that I was the only African America as she pointed towards the doors. Went to front desk and one of the nurses told me to go back and wait. I told her after what happened back there I do not trust them to prescribe me medication nor do I want to stay at that hospital. Reminded them that if anything happens to me during my travel that they are responsible. Even at that they did not hesitate to release me. I cannot comprehend the unprofessionalism from these people. They have no remorse for what happened even after I called the next day to complain of what happened. This is the worst hospital and worst experience that I have ever had and felt. I felt belittled, shocked, appalled, dirty like I did something wrong and sad and cried on my way home because of their treatment. I would not recommend that anyone go there because of their narrow mindedness.
