What drives me nuts is when a pub and restaurant gives itself an Irish name, serves Guinness and calls itself an Authentic Irish Pub. An Irish pub is more than a name and the beer it serves. As an Irish native I was expecting more than what I got. No Irish Stew or Chips or any other Irish dishes. Plus the dark Irish beers are served cold and not warm the way they should be. Sure the Pub is similar to those in Ireland as in the way its built but that the only good part. So if you want Authentic Irish food, try McGurks downtown or come to my house.
