Review content:
I had my first pizza ever 40-some years ago at a little place in Grove Park (Lakeland) named Jerry's Pizza. Jerry was the cook - a few years later there was some copyright snafu and they renamed to J-Burns. I moved far away right after that, and when I returned (3 years ago) there were no more J-Burns... I have been comparing pizzas everywhere to Jerry's/J-Burns, and have never found a pizza better (close: the Moose's Tooth in Anchorage, AK - close, but only close). A couple days ago I discovered that Pizza Connection was that most wonderful of pizzas - of J-Burns. I drove to Auburndale (from Lakeland) that night with five other former J-Burns addicts, and we were so psyched! One says (at the sound of the squares being cut) ""I'VE HEARD THAT BEFORE!!! Well, it was a great experience. Seems a bit silly to drive to Auburndale for pizza, but there you have it. No sense getting one anywhere else, Pizza Connection is clearly the best!
