Review content:
If I lived on the border of Texas and Mexico, I'd probably be snobbier and less enthusiastic about this place, but I grew up in Michigan so F it! They are open later than I would ever even need Del Taco and that includes the bar. Huge tequila menu and wonderful fresh squeezed margs.
Walk in and immediately you smell the sweet earthy smoke of their famous fresh made tortillas. Salsa on the table and the fresh fried chips are like nothing you've ever had, even though you've been to a hundred Mex places before. Trust me!
Every dish on the menu is Tex-Mex heaven. I've been there a hundred times so I speak with authority. Interesting items like Jicima Salad, Black Bean Empanadas and fresh Sopes make this my favorite unassuming Mexican restaurant.
