Want good Mexican food at 3 am? La Cabana! 8/9/2005

La Cabana is a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. They serve traditional Mexican - many different kinds of quesadillas, enchiladas and tacos (including the best *tacos al carbon* ever). In 2005 they won the Citysearch best margarita award. This special margarita is served in your own special shaker to take home with you and is enough for at least one and half drinks, guaranteed to leave you feeling good. And the best part is -- they serve food till 3 am if you get that craving! more

  • Since 1963, La Cabana in Venice has been serving great Mexican food. A little senorita pats out thick tortillas by hand on a brick-layered fireplace and a festive strolling guitar trio takes you back to pueblos of Mexico. There's a colorful outdoor patio where you can wash down chips and salsa picosa with over 18 varieties of margaritas. La Cabana serves monster burritos and sopes made fresh from the tortilla comal. The Chile Rellenos are to die for and they have an excellent Carne Adobada (pork steak marinated in a smokey chile ancho and pasilla sauce).
