Review content:
I recently moved to Pollock Pines and the wife and I were looking for a good place to eat. We first went to Los Hermanos on Wednesday night to enjoy a drink. They have a 2 for 1 Special every Wednesday. We couldn't believe it! We had already had dinner this night but after smelling the sizzling fajitas that another couple was enjoying just down the bar we had to come back.
We came in the following Saturday to sit in the restaurant and all I can say is Wow!
The decor is beautiful with over 20 brightly colored fish swimming around the fish tank and the faux sand and palm trees, we felt like we were on a beach in Mexico.
As for the food, simply fantastic. I ordered the Steak Fajitas and my wife ordered a Carnitas plate. Both were great. The Carnitas was tender and full of flavor. We couldn't of been happier with our meals.
Upon entering the restaurant we were greated by a very friendly young lady who immediately took us to a nice booth by the window. Our server was very prompt at getting our drink order, (arrogant bastard for me, don julio margarita for her), as well as the food order. He was very kind and we had a great conversation whilst he prepared a fresh guacamole dip at our table.
If anyone is passing through Pollock Pines heading to Tahoe we highly recommend you stop at Los Hermanos.
