I also used Kat's Cakes fo rmy wedding. My rum cake was dry and wasn't what I envisioned as a rum cake. But I figured you know..it happens. I ordered my anniversary cake 2 weeks before my one year anniversary. I went in to pick it up and it wasn't done. Okay..I thought things happen. I went back two hours later and they had a cake for me. I asked them to quote a price for a cake. They gave me a quote and said they could do it. I told them I needed to talk to my husband. I called in to order the cake and left a message. No one called back. When I called in the next day to order, I was told they couldn't do it, were booked solid for the whole month and were working on a major project. I thought what the heck..it's for 20 people and you said you could do it. I was very disappointed. It seems their success is getting to Kat and her mom. People do talk...this isn't the ""bay area."" You might not need my business today. But you may be begging for it tomorrow.
