I have had long hair for 40 years and have been trying to muster up enough courage to cut it short for the last 20. After seeing the short haircuts that Rachel gave my mom and sister, I went for a consultation. Before and after the visit I watched Rachel cut hair and talk with her clients. During my appointment I discussed everything with her (my current hair frustrations, concerns about a short cut, my hair time/attention tolerances, etc.). Funny enough Rachel suggested that I may not like having short hair. But given what I'd seen and the discusion we had, I knew that if I was to cut my hair, I wanted Rachel to do it. A week later I was back in her chair. I have since (a year ago now) had several fantastic sort haircuts by Rachel. I knew exactly what to expect and how to maintain each cut. I love my hair now. I never have. Rachel is awsome.
