Aqua Pure Labs just ripped me off for $90.10. I have a system in a house that I just bought that has an Aqua Pure Labs sticker on it. I called the company to have the system serviced. They sent a tech out. He looked at the system for a moment and said that they don't work on those systems. He then gave us a $1200 quote for a new system. They charged us $85 plus tax for a service call when no service was performed. I called the company to tell them that this was ridiculous. I was told that I ordered a service call and that is what I got, even though they performed no service other than appearing, which I could have gotten for free since they advertise free estimates. I was even willing to chalk this up as a misunderstanding and I asked if they would reduce the bill. They would not.They were completely unreasonable. I told their representative that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau. She said that it didn't matter to them. I have since filed a complaint with the better Business Bureau. I also found that they have an ""F"" rating with the better Business Bureau. In the end we paid $90.10 for a free estimate. Don't let yourself get ripped off next.
