My daughter bought her laptop at bestbuy and purchased a warranty. She took it to Geek Squad in North Olmsted and was given a completion date of 9-18-08. She has contacted them several time since this completion date and has been given the run around. This laptop is her life , her business. They were supposed to fix it or replace it . They tell her it has been sent out for repairs and they do not have a phone number to reach them and that they (repair) are not responding to the only source of communication they have with them which is email. I think something stinks here. They are definitely giving her the run around. I do not believe they cannot comunicate with someone that does there repairs. Nonsense! She has asked to speak with a manager and he/she has the same aloof attitude as does everyone else she has spoken with. I definitely would avoid this place of business in the future. It is such a shame. Usually people perform and act in a way to take a little pride in what they do, but we sure are seeing less and less of that in the world today. Again, what a shame. I hope someone from geek squad sees this and fixes their people skills problems, and learns to take the ball and run with it to get work done in a timely and efficient manner. Instead of offering dull promises you cannot count on. They did not even offer a loaner or any type of tempory solution in the event of a delay. Nothing NIL... Not even any answers except that no one knew what was going on.
