Review content:
Just went by this store this morning and had to come back and write a review since I found the manager's(?) behavior so appalling. I feel slightly better seeing the other negative reviews and knowing now that this guy's behavior wasn't a singular occurrence. I also think it's pretty pathetic that he/somebody else with the store had to give themselves a 5 star "review" in order to attempt to boost their rating...better customer service might help with that, in case you're reading this. Telling somebody - and I quote - to "get the f**k out of the store," is not going to help with your ratings or overall store popularity, either. That should seem like a given, but apparently this guys needs a few tips on customer service based upon my incident with him today and upon previous reviews.
So I went in this morning to browse laptop bags with my boyfriend, and I saw a few that I liked. I have an app on my phone that scans bar codes and tells you whether there are better deals online, so I tried scanning one of the bags, and...it didn't work. Oh well. I continued looking around with my phone in hand, stopping occasionally to look at bags and their price tags, when the manager walked by and said "stop scanning the tags." I was confused since I wasn't actually scanning anything anymore, and when I turned to him, he dropped the f-bomb by telling me to "get the f**k out of the store." Really? Is there really any need for that kind of language? I'd never been spoken to by anybody in retail (or anywhere else, for that matter) like that before, so it kind of blew my mind. I can understand if he was irritated that I had been looking for competitive pricing online, but isn't it my prerogative as a shopper to decide whether I want to purchase something or not based upon the price or any other reason? I guess it's also his prerogative to kick me out of his store for whatever reason he sees fit...it just seemed like a poor decision on his part since my boyfriend and I had both been planning on making a purchase until he went and said that, and we figured it wasn't worth it to stick around for that kind of treatment. What turned out to be a misunderstanding on his part lost him a sale.
I also found the bag online just now for a better price. So not worth it to shop here. Poor customer service and verbal abuse? I'd give them zero stars if I could. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
