I wish I had seen these reviews BEFORE I decided to use them..Here's my story: I replied to an email after comparing them to other movers in the area and seeing that they were one of the cheaper ones around town. Since I had about an easy of a move as possible (small 1 BR apt, in-town move (<30 mins away), furniture in a storage unit, etc) I didn't need the ""Gold Standard"" of movers, basically just a couple guys and a truck. When discussing with the sales person, I explained my situation in very simple terms and in very specific detail: I HAD to be moved in at my new bldg before 5pm on moving day or else lose the elevators which I had to reserve (I kid you not) weeks in advance...At 5pm the elevators are shut down and if you are not done moving in then too bad...Unreasonable? Yes - but that's a story for another time as one would think that showing up on time would be the EASY part of moving...The sales person assured me again and again that this was ""no problem"" and that they would in fact be there at ""12:00 sharp"" (Later that day I had another person at the company call me saying it would be within 2 hrs of our already agreed upon time but that meant even the 'worst case senario' of them showing up at 2:00pm leaves us enough time to get moved in since I am setup for a quick move.
