I wish I had seen these reviews BEFORE I decided to use them..Here's my story: I replied to an email after comparing them to other movers in the area and seeing that they were one of the cheaper ones around town. Since I had about an easy of a move as possible (small 1 BR apt, in-town move (<30 mins away), furniture in a storage unit, etc) I didn't need the ""Gold Standard"" of movers, basically just a couple guys and a truck. When discussing with the sales person, I explained my situation in very simple terms and in very specific detail: I HAD to be moved in at my new bldg before 5pm on moving day or else lose the elevators which I had to reserve (I kid you not) weeks in advance...At 5pm the elevators are shut down and if you are not done moving in then too bad...Unreasonable? Yes - but that's a story for another time as one would think that showing up on time would be the EASY part of moving...The sales person assured me again and again that this was ""no problem"" and that they would in fact be there at ""12:00 sharp"" (Later that day I had another person at the company call me saying it would be within 2 hrs of our already agreed upon time but that meant even the 'worst case senario' of them showing up at 2:00pm leaves us enough time to get moved in since I am setup for a quick move. To start out they showed up a day and a half late. When they arrived nine days later we were missing many items and have reason to believe that many items were stolen. When the movers were unloading the truck they were asking me which items were mine. I was honest but could have taken all kinds of stuff. We had a large mirror, lamps, and other items that did not make it. The sickest part of the ordeal was the fact that my wife's wedding dress was put in a bag with some of our bedding. The bag showed up with the bedding however the dress did not. I would not recommend FL movers to my worst enemy. You're better off paying more and going with a better company. more

I do not recommend this company. A lot of promises are made at the time of ""sale"" but are not followed. Take my advise and spend the extra money to use a reputable mover. I have moved a lot and have used several moving companies through the years and have always had great experiences until using this company. HORRIBLE! more
