Buyer's, Bride's & Crafter's - Beware!
I tried returning left over candles from a recent event, and because I did not have the origional credit card in my hand that I purchased the candles with - Micheal's would not refund or credit the purchase to my husbands credit card - same account! A store credit does not put food on the table! The packages were never opened - in perfect condition, original Michael's bag and 30 days after purchase and with the receipt. No where on the return policy - tells you any of this! The manager would not budge and we had driven an hour to the closest store - which is where the the purchase occurred. Think twice before you make a purchase that will not be used immediately or as a gift for friends. This huge corporation has no interest in customer service! They could have given back cash, or keyed in the credit to my husbands credit card. They are only interested in keeping you spending.
