Filled out the application, credit check ect ect after a day or two Snap told me I qualified for a 180K home They ensured me everything was taken care now just go look for a home... Spend 3 or 4 weeks looking for a home. Found a decent fixer upper went back to Snap to finish up the paperwork was told I needed to pay 500 for a appraisal, then 1000 for earnest money and if we close at by August I would qualify for the 8000 Tax rebate.
Paid the 1500 dollars a few days went by then I was told there was some issues with the lending company I sent them over more paper work more check stubs more proof of income. Long story short Snap told me the Mortgage companies they negotiated with backed out. Soooo my questions is Why was everything green and in the clear before I paid 1500 dollars ???? Lost the 8000 tax rebate so in short Snap screwed me out of 9500+ dollars.
