We decided to check Blue Koi out last Sunday, based mostly on the fact that we had a $25 gift certificate, but also partially on the reviews we've seen. They lived up to our expectations for food, but service was a little lacking. We had several rolls, and tried some nigiri, as well. All was very good; I'd have to put it up near Sushi Den, actually! Our favorite was the Aurora roll; basically an Alaska roll deep fried. Very tasty! The seaweed salad was tasty, as well, with a nice toasted sesame flavor and a good portion for the price.
Pros: Good pricing, great ambience, no crowds, decent location, and GREAT sushi!
Cons: Long wait on larger orders (maybe missing a chef that night?)
