Businiess name:  Perma-Pier Foundation Repair Of Texas

Review content:
It was a hardship to pay the $8,000 on a teacher's salary, but I borrowed the money and paid because i NEEDED MY FOUNDATION FIXED SO MY HOUSE WOULD STOP MOVING AROUND! The foundation was never repaired properly. Two weeks after the supposed repair the house was again moving excessively--great cracks inside and out forming every day and not one door would close. Repeated appeals to everyone in the company have gotten me 5 cursory ""adjustments of shims"" which does nothing. I can't sell my house and it's miserable to live here. I can't afford to pay another company to fix the foundation. Now they are trying to make me sign a waiver of my warranty. Beware!!! Steer clear of this company! I've heard there are other people in the same predicament after using Perma Pier. I have been forced to try and get them to fix my foundation for a year. This is a year of stress and financial hardship because this company callously took my money for a service they didn't perform. I'm disabled and couldn't crawl under the house to see if they did the work. Now I'm stuck commuting to another city for a new job because no one will buy this house in this condition. It's a nightmare and no one at Perma Pier cares about what they've done to a customer. I think they feel immune from any repercussions for not doing what they contracted to do--Fix my foundation. Pros: NONE-I might have well have just burned my money Cons: I paid for foundation repair and I still don't have a repaired foundation
