Review content:
My friend referred me to this office when I was single and simply required a gynecologist. For that purpose, the office was sufficient and I was happy with Dr. Barb Diakos. And yes, I agree with most reviewers that the front office staff is horrible. If you are searching for an OB/GYN, be wary of this office and its doctors for obstetrical needs. Like many other reviewers, I had a bad experience with this office and the doctors during my first pregnancy. They completely missed noticing that I had a massive fibroid which ultimately led to requiring a C-section after 28 hours of labor. In my final month of pregnancy, when I rotated through every doctor and mentioned to each that I couldn't feel the baby moving around, shouldn't they have seen a red flag? Also, the ultrasound techs always had problems finding the baby's heartbeat - shouldn't that have been a red flag as well? For the actual delivery, Dr. Tam finally showed up at the hospital 4 hours after she received the first call that I required an immediate C-section. Luckily, the end result was OK - I was fine, the baby was fine- but simply by luck she missed cutting into the orange-sized fibroid which could have had a catastrophic result. I did not return to this office for subsequent gyn/obstetrical care.
